The next war is already lost

I was going to get around to writing a blog about the forty page complaint about West Point being Reeeecist. As I am not a USMA graduate (just a lowly enlisted guy, ROTC grad) I didn't feel I had the proper information or context. But this graduate seems to confirm my suspicions that the complainants are in it for woke points, the accusations bear no weight of evidence and this is the installation of the Red Guard at USMA. If they fall for this we will deserve the soft, shitty officers we get. I think these USMA grads address it better than I could.

I graduated from ROTC in the early 2000s. All cadets get nearly the same training. However, there is something about the USMA graduates that acts as an anchor for the culture and conduct of officers as ladies, gentlemen and aggressive, confident leaders. I have seen that erode, year after year. The usually aggressive leadership ability we expect of them has disappeared. Remember this is where our country’s greatest military leaders have come from. Eroding USMA’s ability to train these leaders is a threat to military readiness, not just now, but in the future when these cadets are Lt. Cols. What happens then?
